As Vice President of Retail for Habitat for Humanity, Karen oversaw one of the most impressive growth trajectories in the organization's ReStore history. When she stepped into the role, the store was generating $650,000 in annual revenue. Through strategic product sourcing, vendor relationship management, and a sharp eye for high-demand merchandise, she drove revenue to just under $3,000,000 — nearly a 5x increase that stands as a testament to her instincts, leadership, and relentless execution.

Throughout her tenure, Karen developed deep expertise in flooring, cabinetry, and home décor — categories that demand both product knowledge and an understanding of consumer behavior, margin optimization, and inventory turnover. She built and managed a robust network of vendors, negotiating favorable terms while consistently identifying the products most likely to move quickly and profitably. Her approach was never just about filling shelves — it was about curating the right assortment at the right price to drive maximum performance.

Andrew Smith's story is one of discipline, resilience, and an unwavering drive to succeed — no matter what life throws his way.

Andrew earned a full-ride football scholarship to the University at Albany, where he excelled both on the field and in the classroom, graduating in 2013. A standout athlete with professional aspirations, he pursued his dream of playing professional football and earned a coveted opportunity to compete at the professional level with the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League. His professional career, however, was cut short during Rookie Camp when he suffered a career-ending injury — a complete rupture of his Achilles tendon — a moment that would have broken most people but only sharpened Andrew's resolve to channel his competitive spirit into a new arena.

Rather than stepping back, Andrew stepped up. With a lifelong commitment to protecting and serving his community, he was sworn in as an officer with the New York City Department of Correction. There, he continued to compete at an elite level — joining the department's football team and earning a position within the Emergency Service Unit, one of the department's most distinguished and highly trained divisions, reserved for officers who demonstrate exceptional skill, composure, and leadership under pressure.

Andrew's dedication to service did not stop there. He later relocated and was sworn in with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, continuing his commitment to public safety and community impact in Florida. Whether on the field, in uniform, or in the boardroom, Andrew has always led with purpose.

It was during this chapter of his life that Andrew crossed paths with Karen — and together, two driven individuals with complementary expertise began to dream bigger. What started as conversations about opportunity, strategy, and independence evolved into a shared vision: to build something of their own, on their own terms. From that vision, Bulk Source Group LLC was born — a true American dream, built from scratch by two people who refused to settle for anything less than extraordinary.

Today, Andrew brings that same intensity, discipline, and team-first mentality to every aspect of Bulk Source Group. He understands what it means to compete at the highest level, to sacrifice, to pivot, and to rise. That foundation is embedded in the DNA of everything Bulk Source Group stands for.
